It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
54. And (remember) Lot when he said to his people: "Do you commit indecency while you have understanding [53]?"
[53] Mention of the People of Lut:
Here the word: ﴿تُبْصِرُونَ﴾ is used, which means "to see" and also "to understand." In this regard, these two verses can have several meanings. One is that you yourselves also understand that this is a filthy and shameless act, and it is against nature. Even the most insignificant animals do not do such a thing, yet you, being the noblest of creation, commit this act. Secondly, you well understand that Allah has created wives for this purpose, but you, disregarding them, do this act with men. Thirdly, you have become so shameless that you do this act in front of each other's eyes.
