قَالَ عِفْرِيتٌ مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبْلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَ ۖ وَإِنِّى عَلَيْهِ لَقَوِىٌّ أَمِينٌ ﴿39﴾
A ‘Ifrît (strong one) from the jinn said: "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place (council). And verily, I am indeed strong, and trustworthy for such work."
قَالَ qāla Said
عِفْرِيتٌۭ ʿif'rītun a strong one
مِّنَ mina of
ٱلْجِنِّ l-jini the jinn
أَنَا۠ anā I
ءَاتِيكَ ātīka will bring it to you
بِهِۦ bihi will bring it to you
قَبْلَ qabla before
أَن an [that]
تَقُومَ taqūma you rise
مِن min from
مَّقَامِكَ ۖ maqāmika your place
وَإِنِّى wa-innī And indeed, I am
عَلَيْهِ ʿalayhi for it
لَقَوِىٌّ laqawiyyun surely, strong
أَمِينٌۭ amīnun trustworthy
