وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿9﴾
And verily your Lord, He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

9. Indeed, your Lord is the All-Mighty [7], the Most Merciful.

[7] That is, Allah has the power to immediately wipe such stubborn and hostile people off the face of the earth. But since He is also Merciful, He does not destroy them at once; rather, He keeps granting them respite to understand, reflect, and reform.
