Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

84. And grant me a reputation of honor [60] among later generations.

[60] That is, in this world, may I be able to do such good deeds that people who come after me remember me with good words. This prayer of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was accepted word for word. Most people of various religions in the world certainly acknowledge him as their religious leader, even though they have deviated in many ways from the teachings of Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him). Islam revived the religion of Ibrahim anew, and by making the sending of Durood (blessings) upon him obligatory in every prayer, his good mention was also continued. But it is unfortunate that, like other religions, Muslims too have deviated from the pure religion of Ibrahim and have mixed partnership (shirk) into their faith.
