Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

81. And He will cause me to die, then bring me back to life [57].

Life and Death Are Only in the Hands of Allah:

Death is such an inevitable reality from which no one can escape, nor does anyone have any control over it. Man was neither born by his own will, nor can he delay death by his own will. In the same way, he is also completely powerless to prevent his resurrection. The majesty of Allah is such that He constantly demonstrates the wonders of bringing the living from the dead and the dead from the living. Therefore, there can be no reasonable cause to deny resurrection. And these are such acts in which no other being besides Allah has any involvement. Then why should others be associated in the worship of Allah? Or how can others be considered worthy of worship?
