Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
Moses said, "He is the Lord of the east and the west and whatever is between them all [21], if only you would understand."
[21] When Moses (peace be upon him) saw Pharaoh so flustered, he once again emphasized his claim and introduced the Lord of all worlds, saying that all the creatures inhabiting the face of the earth—whether they belong to this land of Egypt, or to the East, or to the West, or to anywhere else—all are sustained by that very Lord of all worlds. Now, hopefully, you people have understood who the Lord of all worlds is and who I am. You are merely the ruler of a patch of land, while I am the messenger of that Lord of all worlds whose sovereignty is not only over this entire earth but over the whole universe. Therefore, it is in your best interest to obey the messenger of the Sovereign of the universe.
