Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
Is it not a sign for them that the scholars of the Children of Israel [116] recognize it?
[116] The Scholars of Bani Israel Knew Well That You ﷺ Are the Promised Messenger:
That is, as proof of the truth of your prophethood, it is sufficient that the scholars of Bani Israel know well that you are that very Messenger, and this book, the Quran, is that very heavenly book which was foretold in the previous heavenly books. Then, some of the fair-minded scholars among them accepted Islam on the basis of this very prophecy, as Abdullah bin Salam and his companions did, and some admit this in their private gatherings, but due to certain considerations, they do not have the courage to announce and acknowledge it openly.
