إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ شُعَيْبٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿177﴾
When Shu‘aib said to them: "Will you not fear Allâh (and obey Him)?

When Shu‘aib [105] said to them, "Will you not fear (Allah)?"

[105] This is the same Shu‘ayb ؑ who was the father-in-law of Musa ؑ, and Musa ؑ received eight to ten years of training under him. Through the fifth ancestor, he is connected to Ya‘qub ؑ. The lineage is as follows: Shu‘ayb son of Mika’il son of Yathjur son of Lawi son of Ya‘qub ؑ.
