Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

155. Salih said, "Here is a she-camel [94]—she has a right to drink water one day, and you all have a right to drink on another day.

The People of Thamud Demand a Physical Miracle from Sayyiduna Salih (peace be upon him):

Salih (peace be upon him) asked them, "What sign do you want?" They said, "We want this mountain in front of us to split open and from it a pregnant she-camel to emerge. Then, that pregnant she-camel should give birth to a calf before us, and we will believe in you." Salih (peace be upon him) prayed to Allah Almighty, and Allah granted his prayer. The mountain split, and from it a huge and gigantic she-camel emerged, which gave birth to a calf in front of those people. When the miracle demanded by the people appeared, it became a problem for them, because whenever the she-camel went to drink water at a well or spring, the other animals of the people would run away in fear of the size and stature of the she-camel.
