Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

I am not one to drive away the believers [77].

[77] From this verse, it is understood that the chiefs of the people of Noah demanded from Prophet Noah ؑ that if you remove these vile and lowly people from your company, then we are ready to sit with you and listen to your words attentively. But in their presence, we are not willing to sit with you. In response, Noah ؑ said that it is a great injustice and lack of wisdom to drive away those who have believed in me just for your sake, when there is no guarantee that you will ever believe later. Whether you believe or not is your choice. And I have fully informed you of your end. In any case, I am not prepared, at any cost, to remove the earlier believers from my company.
