Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
Their account is only with my Lord [76], if only you had any sense.
[76] One meaning of these two verses is that I have nothing to do with what professions those people, whom you consider lowly, are engaged in. Whether they are cobblers, weavers, blacksmiths, or potters, I have no concern with finding this out. What matters to me is only that they have believed and are my companions. As for what their profession is, Allah knows best. The second meaning is that I have no means of knowing what motives are at work beneath the surface when a person comes to me, believes, and starts acting according to what I say. It is neither my job nor yours to estimate this; rather, it is Allah's job.
