Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

That is, their night worship or other good deeds do not lead them to the false notion that they are now definitely deserving of Paradise. Nor do they develop pride or arrogance over the performance of these deeds. As a poet has said: The pride of asceticism has taught the preacher To speak harshly to the servants of God. Rather, they continue to pray to Allah that if there has been any shortcoming in the performance of these deeds, then forgive it. Accept these deeds as they are, and keep us safe from the punishment of Hell. In other words, the fourth quality of the servants of Allah is that they do not rely on their deeds, but their real trust is in the mercy and grace of Allah Almighty.
