Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Remembrance of Allah in the Solitude of Night and the Prayer of Tahajjud:

The third quality of the servants of Allah is mentioned here: they do not remain heedless of Allah’s remembrance even at night. Rather, they find more pleasure in worship at night. This is because, firstly, there is no suspicion of showing off in night worship. Secondly, in the solitude of the night, a servant can turn to Allah and supplicate to Him in a way that is not possible during the day. That is why there is great virtue mentioned in the hadiths regarding night worship, especially the prayer of Tahajjud. Also, Hazrat Abu Hurairah ؓ says: “On the Day of Resurrection, Allah Almighty will grant shade to seven types of people, on the day when there will be no shade except His shade. Among those seven will be the person who remembered Allah in solitude and his eyes overflowed with tears.” [بخاری۔ کتاب الزکوٰۃ۔ باب الصدقۃ بالیمین]
