Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

58. And put your trust in the One who is Ever-Living and will never die [71]. Glorify Him with His praise. He is sufficient as One who is aware of the sins of His servants.

[71] That is, I put my trust in the Being who is eternally living and everlasting, and will always remain living and everlasting. Unlike your deities, He is not a creation, nor is He so needy that He would require the devotion of His followers even to maintain His own existence. And one who does not even have control over benefit or harm for himself, how can he bring you any harm or benefit? I have been commanded to worship such a Being, and He is fully aware of the misdeeds of deniers like you and is also capable of punishing you for those misdeeds.
