Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
24. On that Day, the dwellers of Paradise will have the best abode and the best place for rest [34] at noon.
[34] The Day of Resurrection, according to our current reckoning, is a day of fifty thousand years. That day will also have a noon and an evening. It is mentioned in a hadith that Allah Almighty will finish the reckoning of people before noon. The people of Paradise will enter Paradise, and the people of Hell will enter Hell, and from this verse it is understood that the people of Paradise will go to sleep in Paradise after noon. Because "Qaylulah" refers to sleeping after noon, and "Maqīlan" refers to the place of sleeping after noon. It is also mentioned in a hadith that for the believers or the people of Paradise, this day of fifty thousand years will feel as light as the time of an obligatory prayer.
