Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

98. And I seek refuge in You lest they [94] come near me.

[94] In the previous verses, those enemies were mentioned who are related to humans. Both they themselves and their hostile actions and deeds are at least visible, and a person can think of ways to counter them. In these two verses, those enemies are mentioned who are related to jinn or devils, and who attack by entering the human body through evil thoughts and evil intentions in such a way that a person can neither see them nor their activities. And sometimes, under the instigation of such an enemy, a person commits an act that ruins the efforts of years. The way to protect oneself from the attack of such an enemy is to seek refuge in Allah. And to keep reciting the supplication that is taught in these two verses.
