Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

And We gave Moses the Book so that they might be guided [50].

Refutation of the Rejecters of Sunnah:

Two things are understood from this verse: first, that the Book, the Torah, was given to Musa (Moses) ؑ after the drowning of Pharaoh and his chiefs. Second, that the commands given to Musa ؑ before the revelation of the Torah were also equally obligatory to follow for Musa ؑ and those who believed in him, just as the commands of the Torah were. From this, it is concluded that, in addition to the Book of Allah, much else is also revealed to a Prophet from Allah. And following that is just as obligatory as following the Book of Allah. In this is a complete refutation of those who say that the Quran alone is sufficient for our guidance.
