Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

28. And when you and those with you have boarded the Ark [32] and are settled, say, "All praise is for Allah, Who has saved us from the wrongdoing people [33]."

[32] These events and their details have already been discussed in detail in the footnotes of Surah Hud from number 34 to 53. Therefore, there is no need to repeat them.
[33] That is, this nation was so wretched that upon their drowning, Prophet Nuh ؑ thanked Allah and expressed happiness instead of sorrow. This nation was truly an example of "good riddance to bad rubbish." In fact, Prophet Nuh ؑ had clearly said in his supplication: O Allah! Do not let even a single household of this nation remain alive, because the children born among them will also be disobedient and wicked, and will never accept the truth. [71: 26، 27]
