Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
26. Noah said, "My Lord! Help me, for they have denied me [31]."
[31] The period of Prophet Noah’s ؑ preaching was probably longer than that of all other prophets, which according to the explicit statement of the Quran was nine hundred and fifty years. During this long period, he continued to hear and endure unjust words and taunts from his people. In such a long time, very few people believed. Let alone others, even his own wife and a son sided with the disbelievers against him. Prophet Noah ؑ became certain that the disbelievers present now were so stubborn and obstinate that none of them would be willing to accept the call to truth. These people were only a cause of pain and mental anguish for Prophet Noah ؑ. When these disbelievers reached the extreme in causing him harm, at that time he prayed: O Allah! This nation has overpowered me, so You help me and take retribution from them for the oppression they have inflicted upon me for such a long period.
