Thus have We sent it (this Qur’ân) down (to Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) as clear signs, evidence and proofs, and surely, Allâh guides whom He wills.

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

16. Thus We have sent down the Qur'an as clear verses, and indeed Allah guides only whom He wills [15].

[15] That is, although there are countless clear proofs in the Quran, not everyone receives guidance from these proofs; rather, only the one receives it for whom Allah’s will is intended. The Divine will is granted only to those who themselves intend to turn towards Allah. Stubborn, obstinate, arrogant, and disobedient people neither receive a connection with Allah nor is it Allah’s law to forcibly grant guidance to anyone.
