سُوْرَةُ الْاَنْۣبِيَآءِ
Surah Al-Anbiyaa (21) — Ayah 98
إِنَّكُمْ وَمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ حَصَبُ جَهَنَّمَ أَنتُمْ لَهَا وَٰرِدُونَ ﴿98﴾

Certainly you (disbelievers) and that which you are worshipping now besides Allâh, are (but) fuel for Hell! (Surely), you will enter it.

Allah will say, "You and those whom you worshipped besides Allah are all fuel for Hell [88]. You are bound to enter it."

False Deities in Hell:
That is, the polytheists will be thrown into Hell along with their deities, that is, their idols, and these idols were generally made of stone. Allah has mentioned this same subject in Surah Al-Baqarah: ﴿وَّقُوْدُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ﴾
Men as well as stones will be the fuel of Hell, and seeing these deities in Hell will greatly increase the pain and regret of their worshippers. Firstly, because those deities from whom they had so many expectations turned out to be so helpless that they are burning in Hell just like them, and secondly, because by becoming the fuel of Hell, they are causing the torment of fire for their worshippers to intensify even more.
