ثُمَّ نُكِسُوا۟ عَلَىٰ رُءُوسِهِمْ لَقَدْ عَلِمْتَ مَا هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ يَنطِقُونَ ﴿65﴾
Then they turned to themselves (their first thought and said): "Indeed you [Ibrâhîm (Abraham)] know well that these (idols) speak not!"
ثُمَّ thumma Then
نُكِسُوا۟ nukisū they were turned
عَلَىٰ ʿalā on
رُءُوسِهِمْ ruūsihim their heads
لَقَدْ laqad Verily
عَلِمْتَ ʿalim'ta you know
مَا not
هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ hāulāi these
يَنطِقُونَ yanṭiqūna (can) speak
