Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

On that Day, We will roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for writings. Just as We began your creation, We will repeat it [92]. This is a promise binding upon Us, and We will surely fulfill it.

[92]
What will be the end of the universe and how will it happen?

That is, the expanse of the heavens will be folded up. Allah Almighty has expressed this same subject at another place as follows: ﴿وَالسَّمٰوٰتُ مَطْوِيّٰتٌم بِيَمِيْنِهٖ﴾ — that is, Allah Almighty will fold up all the heavens and take them in His right hand, and just as Allah Almighty began the creation of the universe, in the same way, every single part of the present earth and heavens will be ended, and a new earth, new heavens, and a new universe will be brought into existence.
