Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Moses said, "They are following in my footsteps, and I hastened to You, my Lord, so that You may be pleased with me [58]."

The Arrival of Sayyiduna Musa (peace be upon him) at Mount Tur Before His Companions:

Allah Almighty had promised Musa (peace be upon him) that upon reaching the foothills of Mount Tur and spending forty nights there, he would be granted the Book, the Torah, for the guidance of the Children of Israel. Accordingly, Musa (peace be upon him) took seventy men from among the Children of Israel with him and set out towards Tur. However, his longing to meet and converse with Allah Almighty was so intense that he left his companions behind and reached the intended destination before all others. Allah Almighty asked, "What made you hasten ahead of your companions to arrive here first?" He replied, "They are following behind me and will soon arrive here, and my eagerness to meet You brought me here before them." It was on this occasion that he requested his Lord, "O my Lord! Show Yourself to me," and this incident has also been mentioned in full detail in Surah Al-Baqarah.
