سُوْرَةُ طٰهٰ
Surah Taa-Haa (20) — Ayah 7
وَإِن تَجْهَرْ بِٱلْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلسِّرَّ وَأَخْفَى ﴿7﴾

And if you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) speak (the invocation) aloud, then verily, He knows the secret and that which is yet more hidden.

The Linguistic Difference Between "Khafi" and "Sir":
The word "akhfa" is more emphatic than "sirr." "Sirr" means something hidden or a secret matter, which you tell someone else and emphasize that they should not tell anyone else. "Akhfa" refers to a thought that comes to someone's heart but is not mentioned to anyone at all. In the previous verse, Allah's vastness of power, control, and authority was described. In this verse, the unlimited vastness of His knowledge is mentioned. That is, the Quraysh are being told that Allah is fully aware of all your schemes, mischiefs, and deeds.
