Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Then they said to Moses, "Moses, will you throw first, or shall we be the first to throw? [46]"

The Magicians Take the Initiative in the Contest:

After this unity, the magicians came forward into the field of contest and said to Musa (peace be upon him): “Will you show your trick first, or shall we begin?” They asked Musa (peace be upon him) this out of courtesy, as is often customary in competitions. Musa (peace be upon him) replied that they should show their tricks first. His reply was not out of courtesy, because a magician is not worthy of respect, but rather so that the truth would become manifest. Let falsehood exert all its strength; then, if after that the truth prevails over it, everyone will recognize the reality.
