Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

54. Eat and pasture your cattle. Surely in this (way) there are many signs [36] for people of understanding.

The Provision for All Creatures:

That is, Allah Almighty has created such a permanent and stable system for the sustenance of all living creatures, whether they are humans or animals, through which all creatures continue to receive their provision. If there were a separate deity for rain and another for vegetation, it would have been impossible for there to be perpetual harmony between them. After some time, all creatures would have died of hunger. Allah’s system of production and the factors involved in this production—such as the heat of the sun, the blowing of winds, the evaporation from the sea, the descent of rain in suitable seasons, and then the flourishing of the earth as a result—there is such harmony in all these matters that every person of insight can reach the conclusion that there can be only one Being who manages and administers this universe.
