Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

24. Now go to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed [19].

[19] Musa ؑ was first traveling from Madyan to Egypt. On the way, this incident occurred. You were granted prophethood, and after being given miracles, Allah Almighty said: Now go, and confront the king of Egypt, Pharaoh. He is a disobedient one to Allah and has claimed divinity for himself; invite him to the straight path. And for the confrontation with a tyrant and dominant king like Pharaoh, the only provisions you were given were these two miracles. From this, it becomes clear how heavy the responsibility placed upon the Prophets and Messengers is. After this command, how did he treat his family? The Book and Sunnah are silent on this matter. The prevailing opinion is that he must have taken them with you to Egypt.
