Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

They ask you about the mountains [74] (what will happen to them on the Day of Judgment). Say, "My Lord will scatter them as dust."

[74] That is, even if humans and other living things die at the first blowing of the Trumpet, what effect will this blowing have on something as solid as the mountains? In reality, such a question can only come from those ignorant people who have never reflected on this created universe of Allah and its system. For today's human being, this is a completely meaningless question. If there is even a slight disturbance in the movement of the planets and their gravitational pull, let alone the mountains, all the stars could collide and shatter into pieces. This is what will happen on the Day of Resurrection, and at that time, the dust of the mountains will be flying.
