Surah Al-Baqara (2) — Ayah 72

وَإِذْ قَتَلْتُمْ نَفْسًا فَٱدَّٰرَْٰٔتُمْ فِيهَا ۖ وَٱللَّهُ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ ﴿72﴾
And (remember) when you killed a man and fell into dispute among yourselves as to the crime. But Allâh brought forth that which you were hiding.
وَإِذْ wa-idh And when
قَتَلْتُمْ qataltum you killed
نَفْسًۭا nafsan a man
فَٱدَّٰرَْٰٔتُمْ fa-iddāratum then you disputed
فِيهَا ۖ fīhā concerning it
وَٱللَّهُ wal-lahu but Allah
مُخْرِجٌۭ mukh'rijun (is) the One Who brought forth
مَّا what
كُنتُمْ kuntum you were
تَكْتُمُونَ taktumūna concealing
