Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

268. Satan threatens you with poverty and commands you to indecency, while Allah gives you hope of forgiveness [384] from Himself and bounty. And Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing.

[384] Considering Needs at the Time of Charity is a Satanic Whisper: It is understood that if, at the time of giving charity, thoughts of need, other necessities, poverty, or any evil matter come to one’s heart, then this is a satanic whisper. One cannot say that “We have never even seen the form of Satan, let alone accept his command.” And if someone has the thought that by this (charity) sins will be forgiven and there will be growth and blessing in wealth, then understand that this is an inspiration from Allah. Accordingly, in another place Allah the Exalted has said:
﴿ وَمَآ اَنْفَقْتُمْ مِّنْ شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يُخْلِفُهٗ ۚ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرّٰزِقِيْنَ﴾ [34: 39]
That is, whatever you spend in the way of Allah, Allah will grant you its replacement. Because Allah is the best of providers. And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Every morning two angels descend. One of them prays in this way: “O Allah, give more to the one who spends,” and the other curses in this way: “O Allah, destroy the one who withholds.” [بخاري، كتاب الزكوٰة، باب قول اللّٰه عز و جل فأما من اعطي واتقي و صدق بالحسنيٰ۔۔۔ الخ ]
