سُوْرَةُ البَقَرَةِ
Surah Al-Baqara (2) — Ayah 252
تِلْكَ ءَايَـٰتُ ٱللَّهِ نَتْلُوهَا عَلَيْكَ بِٱلْحَقِّ ۚ وَإِنَّكَ لَمِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿252﴾

These are the Verses of Allâh, We recite them to you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) in truth, and surely, you are one of the Messengers (of Allâh).

252. These are the verses [355] of Allah which We recite to you in truth, and surely you are among those who have been sent as Messengers.

Being Informed of Past Events is a Proof of Your ﷺ Prophethood:
Here, the signs of Allah refer to those miraculous events that occurred to the Children of Israel. For example, the thousands of people who, out of fear of plague, left their homes and whom Allah brought back to life after death; or like Dawud killing the tyrant king Jalut single-handedly, and Allah granting dominance to a small group, and bestowing kingship and prophethood upon an unknown shepherd like Dawud, etc. These events We have conveyed to you precisely through revelation, and your informing people of the exact circumstances of past generations is certainly a great proof of your messengership. Because, apart from divine revelation, you have no means by which you could know such accurate details of the past and inform others about them.
