سُوْرَةُ البَقَرَةِ
Surah Al-Baqara (2) — Ayah 245
مَّن ذَا ٱلَّذِى يُقْرِضُ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَـٰعِفَهُۥ لَهُۥٓ أَضْعَافًا كَثِيرَةً ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَقْبِضُ وَيَبْصُۜطُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ ﴿245﴾

Who is he that will lend to Allâh a goodly loan so that He may multiply it to him many times? And it is Allâh that decreases or increases (your provisions), and unto Him you shall return.

245. Who is it that will lend Allah a goodly loan [342], so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah alone who restricts and grants abundance (of provision), and to Him you will be returned.

Conditions for Increase in the Reward of Qard Hasanah:
Qard Hasanah refers to such a loan that is given solely for the pleasure of Allah to the poor, relatives, and needy, and the borrower should not be pressured for repayment, nor should the loan be reminded to them after giving it, nor should any kind of forced labor be taken from them, and if the debtor is truly destitute and unable to repay, then it should be forgiven. The concept of giving a Qard Hasanah to Allah is broader than this, which includes all forms of spending in the way of Allah, and it also includes spending on preparation for jihad and providing financial support to the mujahideen, and in accordance with the context, this very situation seems correct here. Allah increases such a loan up to seven hundred times, or even more than that, and this increase depends on two things: first, that it is spent purely for the pleasure of Allah, and second, that it is given with complete happiness of the heart. Along with this, Allah has also made it clear that you should not fear a decrease in your wealth due to spending, because increase and decrease in wealth is only in the hands of Allah, and in another place in the Quran, [34: 39] it is stated that whatever you spend in the way of Allah, Allah will grant you a good substitute for it.
