Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

208. O you who believe! Enter into Islam completely [276], and do not follow the footsteps of Satan, for he is surely your open enemy.

[276]
The Meaning of Entering Islam Completely:

That is, your beliefs, your thoughts, your ideologies, your knowledge, your ways and customs, your traditions, and your business life—all of it should be subject to Islam. It should not be that you claim to follow Islam, but borrow your economic system from Russia and your political system from the English. Or that you remember Allah in the mosque, but when doing business, you forget Allah entirely and start earning through unlawful means. Or that you loudly proclaim obedience to the Messenger ﷺ, yet continue to participate in all kinds of innovations. Or that you keep reciting «لا اله الا الله», but also seek help from saints and elders. In short, every aspect of your life should be subject to Islam and spent in obedience to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. If you do not make yourself completely subject to Islam, then this is called following in the footsteps of Satan, who is always ready to attack your faith, involve you in wrong and misleading beliefs, and make evil deeds appear attractive so that you are enticed to commit them.
