Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

The Virtue of Suhaib al-Rumi:

That is, among mankind there are such people who sacrifice everything—life and wealth—in the way of Allah. Thus, Suhaib bin Sinan al-Rumiؓ left his homeland and was coming to Madinah for the purpose of migration when the polytheists caught him on the way and tried to force him to renounce Islam. Suhaibؓ said, "I am ready to give you my house and all my wealth on the condition that you do not obstruct my way and let me go to Madinah." They released him on this condition, and Suhaib al-Rumiؓ reached the service of the Prophetﷺ. This verse was revealed in praise of such sincere believers. [الرحيق المختوم 246] On one occasion, the Messenger of Allahﷺ said to Abu Bakrؓ regarding Suhaibؓ, Bilalؓ, and Salmanؓ: "If you anger them, you have angered your Lord."
