Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم to the Jews and Christians), "Dispute you with us about Allâh while He is our Lord and your Lord? And we are to be rewarded for our deeds and you for your deeds. Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Say to them: "Do you argue with us about Allah, while He is our Lord [171] and your Lord as well? Our deeds are for us, and your deeds are for you. And we worship Him alone with sincerity."

The Basis of Allah's Grace and Favor:

The Jews and Christians thought that they were Allah's sons and His beloved ones. Therefore, they alone deserved all His favors and honors. Allah the Exalted replied to this by saying: Tell them that just as He is your Lord, He is also our Lord. He will bestow His favors upon people according to their deeds. And in this regard, we are even better than you, for we worship only Him, while you commit shirk as well. Now you yourselves can judge upon whom His favors and honors should be bestowed in the future.
