قَالَ فَإِنِ ٱتَّبَعْتَنِى فَلَا تَسْـَٔلْنِى عَن شَىْءٍ حَتَّىٰٓ أُحْدِثَ لَكَ مِنْهُ ذِكْرًا ﴿70﴾
He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention of it to you."
قَالَ qāla He said
فَإِنِ fa-ini Then if
ٱتَّبَعْتَنِى ittabaʿtanī you follow me
فَلَا falā (do) not
تَسْـَٔلْنِى tasalnī ask me
عَن ʿan about
شَىْءٍ shayin anything
حَتَّىٰٓ ḥattā until
أُحْدِثَ uḥ'ditha I present
لَكَ laka to you
مِنْهُ min'hu of it
ذِكْرًۭا dhik'ran a mention
