Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

2. It is a Book that makes the path straight [2], to warn of severe punishment from Him, and to give good news [3] to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a good reward.

The Quran as a Criterion for Previous Scriptures:

"Qayyiman" is a word with broad meanings. One meaning has been mentioned in the translation; another meaning is that it serves as a criterion and standard for the previous heavenly books. Firstly, it contains a summary of the previous teachings. Secondly, this book only confirms the correct and divinely revealed contents of the previous scriptures, and if there is any contradiction, it will be due to the verbal or interpretative distortion by the People of the Book, or it will be their own addition.
[3] That is, the essence of the teachings of this book, as well as all the heavenly books, is that the Day of Judgment is certainly coming. On that day, all people will definitely be recompensed for their good or bad deeds. Therefore, it is obligatory for every person to live their life in this world fearing Allah due to their accountability before Him, and those who live as obedient servants of Allah are also given the glad tidings of Paradise and eternal happiness.
