Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

1. [1] All praise is for Allah, who has sent down the Book (the Qur'an) upon His servant [1.1] and has not placed in it any crookedness.

[1] Regarding the virtue of Surah Al-Kahf, consider the following ahadith:
1. Bara’ bin Azib says that a man was reciting this Surah at night in his house, and a horse was also tied there. The horse began to startle. When he looked up, he saw a light that was overshadowing like a cloud. In the morning, he mentioned this incident to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said: This is sakinah (the light of tranquility) which descended due to his recitation. [ترمذي، ابواب فضائل القرآن۔ باب ماجاء فى سورة كهف]
This incident has also been narrated by Bukhari and Muslim.
2. Sayyiduna Abu Darda’ ؓ says that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever continues to recite the first three verses of this Surah will be protected from the trial of Dajjal. [ترمذي، ابواب فضائل القرآن۔ باب ماجاء فى سورة الكهف]
And in Muslim, it is narrated in this way: Whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf will be protected from the trial of Dajjal. [مسلم بحواله مشكوٰة۔ كتاب فضائل القرآن۔ پهلي فصل]
3. Abu Sa’id ؓ says that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, a light will be illuminated for him between the two Fridays. [ بيهقي فى الدعوات الكبير۔ بحواله مشكوة كتاب فضائل القرآن۔ تيسري فصل]
[1۔ 1] That is, one of the reasons Allah Almighty is worthy of praise is that He has revealed such a Book whose meanings are clearly explained; there is no ambiguity in its meanings, nor is there any complexity or confusion in its style of expression.
