Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

83. And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, he is ever despairing [104].

The Condition of a Worldly Person:

The life of an ordinary person is such that when a period of prosperity comes upon him, he completely forgets Allah, and if later a period of hardship and difficulty comes, he begins to speak words of despair. That is, in any condition, he does not think of establishing a relationship with Allah. In contrast, the life of a believer is such that when he receives a blessing, he gives thanks to Allah, and when he faces hardship, he is patient and turns to Allah through prayer and other acts of worship, and in every situation, he maintains his relationship with his Lord.
