Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

2. We gave Moses the Book and made it a guide [4] for the Children of Israel, commanding them: "Do not take anyone other than Me as a Disposer of affairs."

[4] At the time when the incident of Isra took place, Bayt al-Maqdis was under the trusteeship of the Children of Israel. The message of Islam had already spread throughout the towns of Arabia. Some individuals from the Aws and Khazraj of Madinah had embraced Islam. The Jews were fully aware of the call of Islam. The fact that you ﷺ were taken to Bayt al-Maqdis and led the prayer there was a clear indication that soon the Muslim Ummah would gain control over Bayt al-Maqdis. The beginning of this Surah Bani Isra'il, which starts with the incident of Isra, is merely introductory; otherwise, the main address is directed towards the Jews, and after reminding them of their previous history, they are being warned that their well-being lies in believing in the Prophet of Islam and abandoning their rebellious ways.
