The Night Journey · Meccan · Juz 15 · Page 293

And with truth We have sent it down (i.e. the Qur’ân), and with truth it has descended. And We have sent you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم) as nothing but a bearer of glad tidings (of Paradise for those who follow your Message of Islâmic Monotheism), and a warner (of Hell-fire for those who refuse to follow your Message of Islâmic Monotheism).
وَبِٱلْحَقِّ wabil-ḥaqi And with the truth
أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ anzalnāhu We sent it down
وَبِٱلْحَقِّ wabil-ḥaqi and with the truth
نَزَلَ ۗ nazala it descended
وَمَآ wamā And not
أَرْسَلْنَـٰكَ arsalnāka We sent you
إِلَّا illā except
مُبَشِّرًۭا mubashiran (as) a bearer of glad tidings
وَنَذِيرًۭا wanadhīran and a warner

Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

We have sent down this Qur'an with the truth, and with the truth [124] it has descended. And We have sent you only as a bearer of good news and a warner.

[124] That is, for the very purposes for which We revealed this Quran with truth and veracity, it has reached the heart of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with the same truth and veracity. There has been no addition or omission in it, nor has any falsehood been mixed in along the way, nor has any part of the speech been left out from being revealed. Whatever was revealed to the Messenger is exactly what We sent down. Now, the duty of the Messenger is to convey whatever has been revealed to the people. He is to inform the obedient servants of Allah of the glad tidings contained in this Word, and to warn and caution the disobedient ones through the punishments mentioned for the rebellious.
