Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran — Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani
Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.
If there is any resentment [25] in their hearts, We will remove it, and they will be brothers, sitting face to face on thrones.
[25] Purification of Hearts Before Entering Paradise:
If, due to some misunderstandings in worldly life, there remained any resentment or displeasure among righteous people, then before entering Paradise, Allah Almighty will remove all such things from their hearts, and they will enter Paradise as brothers. All previous matters will be erased from their hearts. Sayyiduna Aliؓ, after reciting this very verse, said that he hoped Allah would also bring about reconciliation between himself, Uthmanؓ, Talhaؓ, and Zubairؓ. It should be noted that these four noble Companionsؓ were members of the six-member committee formed by Sayyiduna Umarؓ before his death for the selection of a new Caliph, and this resentment had arisen due to some misunderstandings. Some people have also taken this to mean that in Paradise, the ranks of its inhabitants will be different; some will be deserving of a higher level of Paradise, and some of a lower level. So, before entering, envy, resentment, etc., will be removed from everyone’s hearts, and every inhabitant of Paradise will be content and satisfied with their own rank.
