Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

23. And surely, it is We Who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritors [14].

Allah Almighty is the Owner and Heir of Everything:

Birth and death are both such things over which humans have not the slightest control. One is neither born by one’s own will nor dies by one’s own will. Then, the children one has are also not by one’s own choice. The life and death of those children are also under Allah’s control. And this process continues in the same way. Then, whatever a person earns in his life, he is only a temporary owner of it. After his death, his earnings pass into the possession of his heirs, and this transfer of wealth and property is also involuntary, in which a person has no control. Then, the possession of the heirs is also temporary. And ultimately, all of this is gathered into Allah’s treasury, Who is in reality the true Owner.
