Do you not see that Allâh has created the heavens and the earth with truth? If He wills, He can remove you and bring (in your place) a new creation!

Do you not see that Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth? [22] If He wills, He can remove you [23] and bring forth a new creation in your place.
[22] That is, the earth, the heavens, and this universe have been created with wisdom and purpose, and their foundation is based on solid realities. In the same way, if righteous deeds are based on some solid reality, their fruit will be lasting and enduring, and they will bear fruit even in the Hereafter. But if a structure is founded not on solid ground but on sand or ashes, then a strong wind will bring it down to the ground. Its lifespan is only until a strong gust of wind comes or water flows beneath it, and this gust or accident is the death of the disbeliever; with his death, his good deeds are also destroyed.
[23] In these verses, the address is continuously to the disbelievers who not only deny the truth but also stand as obstacles in its path, always ready to oppose it and to harm the believers. In between, their good deeds are also mentioned, such as the polytheists of Makkah serving the pilgrims, arranging water for them, collecting funds to help the weak, and so on. In this verse as well, they are warned about their evil deeds and are told that if you continue in this way, Allah has full power to bring other people in your place and grant them authority, and for Him, this is not a difficult task. Thus, just a few years later, this is exactly what happened to the disbelievers of Makkah.
