Sayyiduna Yusuf Reveals Himself:

After hearing this tale of sorrow about their brother and family in these words, Sayyiduna Yusuf (peace be upon him) could no longer bear to keep the circumstances concealed. His heart was filled, and in response to their plea, he asked them: "Do you remember that incident and the treatment you gave to your brother Yusuf (peace be upon him)? And then what you continued to do with this younger brother, Binyamin?" In this question, Sayyiduna Yusuf (peace be upon him) also adopted such a manner that would not cause them further shame, meaning that whatever you did, you did out of ignorance or foolishness.
