Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

82. "And ask the people of the town where we stayed, and the caravan with which we came [79]. Surely, we are telling the truth."

[79] That is, if you do not trust us, then ask the people of Egypt or inquire from the members of the caravan who accompanied us. Through these testimonies, you will be convinced that what we are saying is indeed the truth. It should be noted that here the word "qaryah" is used in the sense of "ahl al-qaryah, i.e., the people of the town," and "al-'eer" is used in the sense of "the people of the caravan."
