Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Yaqub said, "Should I trust you with him as I trusted you with his brother before [61]? Allah is the best guardian, and He is the Most Merciful of the merciful."

The Brothers’ Insistence on Taking Binyamin and the Father’s Refusal:

When the brothers of Yusuf returned to their home, that is, Canaan, they immediately informed their respected father of the conversation that had taken place between them and the King of Egypt. They also explained in detail that if you do not send Binyamin with us, then we will never be able to get grain, and the provision of grain is the most important and urgent need of this time. Therefore, you must send him with us, and as far as it is within our power, we will surely protect him. Sayyiduna Yaqubؑ replied to them that you said exactly the same thing when you took Yusufؑ with you. Then who knows what happened to him; what correct information did you ever give me? And since that time, my only prayer for him has been that Allah keep him alive, safe, steadfast, and under His protection. Wherever he may be, I have always sought Allah’s mercy for him. And now you want to separate this youngest son from me as well; this can never happen.
