Tafsir Taiseer ul-Quran (Facilitation of the Quran) is a comprehensive Quran commentary by Maulana Abdul Rahman Kilani, a renowned Salafi (Ahl al-Hadith) scholar from Pakistan. Known for his eloquent and accessible writing style, Kilani authored this tafsir with a focus on clarity — making Quranic meanings understandable to the common reader. The tafsir provides detailed historical context for verses related to battles and expeditions, and firmly refutes modernist ideologies using strong scriptural evidence. It is widely regarded as an invaluable resource for understanding the Quran and countering deviant interpretations. The tafsir is originally written in Urdu, translated to English by tohed.com.

Interpretation of Dreams:

In this way, taking advantage of the opportunity, Sayyiduna Yusuf ؑ explained the principles of religion to both of the questioners in a captivating manner, and then began to interpret their dreams. He said to the cupbearer that the interpretation of your dream is that you will be reinstated to your former position, and to the baker he said that you will be crucified, and after your death, birds will peck at and eat your flesh. That is, the accusation against the cupbearer has been proven false, and the baker has truly been declared guilty. Upon hearing this interpretation, the baker said that I did not have such a dream; I just wanted to ask the interpretation of such a dream in general. Sayyiduna Yusuf ؑ replied: Whether you had the dream or not, in any case, this decision has been decreed in destiny, and now this event will certainly take place.
