أَفَأَمِنُوٓا۟ أَن تَأْتِيَهُمْ غَـٰشِيَةٌ مِّنْ عَذَابِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ بَغْتَةً وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ﴿107﴾
Do they then feel secure from the coming against them of the covering veil of the Torment of Allâh, or of the coming against them of the (Final) Hour, all of a sudden while they perceive not?
أَفَأَمِنُوٓا۟ afa-aminū Do they then feel secure
أَن an (against) that
تَأْتِيَهُمْ tatiyahum comes to them
غَـٰشِيَةٌۭ ghāshiyatun an overwhelming
مِّنْ min [of]
عَذَابِ ʿadhābi punishment
ٱللَّهِ l-lahi (of) Allah
أَوْ aw or
تَأْتِيَهُمُ tatiyahumu comes to them
ٱلسَّاعَةُ l-sāʿatu the Hour
بَغْتَةًۭ baghtatan suddenly
وَهُمْ wahum while they
لَا (do) not
يَشْعُرُونَ yashʿurūna perceive
